Congratulations to Folklore-backed ansarada on your recent acquisition by Datasite
Born from initial frustration after the lack of quality virtual data room options available during an M&A deal, Rachel and Sam Riley the sibling co-founders of Ansarada (ASX:AND) set out to make life easier for dealmakers and business leaders around the world.
Since those early frustrations, the Ansarada team have developed one of the world’s leading virtual data room products in Ansarada, built on the principles of a product that is easy to use, intuitive and secure. For the last nine years, and across thousands of acquisitions, investments and corporate partnerships, Ansarada has been successfully delivering on this product vision and mission.
Folklore is proud to have made our first investment into Ansarada team at their Series A in 2018, and now 6 years later with enduring market share and competitive product advantage, Ansarada has been acquired by Datasite, a software conglomerate operating across industry in Ansarada’s market owned by CapVest.
One of the unique features Folklore looks for in companies is the ability to succeed in niche markets that are deceptively large, with few competitors, and Ansarada has met that brief, becoming one of four major virtual data room companies globally with supreme positioning in its local ANZ market and Southeast Asia.
Congratulations to the Ansarada team, including Folklore IC and board member, David Pullini, who has been a part of the Ansarada Board for the past several years, as well as Peter James, who has also provided exceptional stewardship of the company over that time as Chairman.
This result is a great outcome for shareholders and validates the commitment the company made to its principles overtime. Folklore is proud to have been a part of the journey and we thank Sam and Rachel for including us on the journey.
